Brain Function: Low levels of Vitamin B12 have been linked to a decline in brain function and dementia.
Osteoporosis (Brittle bones): There is a link between low levels of B12 and reduced bone mass, increasing the risk of fractures.
Depression: It has been suggested that low levels of Vitamin B12 are associated with depression, and long-term treatment with B12 may reduce the recurrence and severity of depression.

Vitamin B12 treatments are generally safe and well-tolerated. The most common side effect is pain at the administration site.

If you feel that you have these symptoms, we advise that you initially seek medical advice from your General Practitioner, as they may suggest a blood test, which may include checking your level of Vitamin B12.
Vitamin B12 would be administered after conducting a full consultation and medical history check with a practitioner, as there are some circumstances where this treatment should be avoided.
The vitamin is administered into the deltoid muscle in the upper arm. You may experience some mild discomfort, stinging or a slight burning sensation when it is administered. Vitamin B12 shots begin to work immediately, but it can take days or weeks to feel the benefit. For maintenance, Vitamin B12 shots may be administered every 3 months.
